Minimally Invasive TLIF
Minimally invasive TLIF (Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion) spine surgery is a surgical procedure used to replace degenerative discs, restoring the natural alignment of the spine. It is performed on patients with serious spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, or nerve compression with associated low back pain. The procedure involves joining or fusing two or more vertebrae together. Minimally invasive TLIF utilizes much smaller incisions compared to traditional open surgery and has been shown to cause less muscle dissection, reduced postoperative pain, and faster recovery and return to activities.
